Education Buildings - Condition & Valuation Tab
- Condition: Building component average condition. This can be a direct input or averaged from detailed Level 2 sub component condition data.
- Replacement Value: Building Component Replacement value.
- Backlog Estimate: Estimated backlog of each building component. A direct assessment or derived using renewal values of Level 2 sub components, whose condition is above a given threshold value.
- Element Condition Index: A calculated field that provides an idea on health of the building component. The formula is ( 1-(Component backlog/Component RV)*100).
- Total Facility Backlog Estimate: A calculated field, sum of all component backlog.
- Planned Maintenance Cost: Annual cost of scheduled maintenance activities.
- Unplanned Maintenance Allowance: If an organisation has a policy of reserving funds to be used in case of emergency maintenance that allocated value is included here. Usually this can be a % of building RV.
- Estimated Preservation Cost: A calculated field. It shows the current liability of the building.
